NFL Recordings

Future recordings will not need to be matched. Are you asking about your previous recordings?

It is still naming the games with the date they were played and it is still recording duplicates. I don’t see a difference. Running version 1.18.2.2029.

Did you turn off Enhanced Guide Data and do a full refresh?

No. Is that the work around?

It was a reply in another thread from sa2000 EPG.

This is what I experienced as well. Still appears broken.

what is broken with 1.18.2.2029 recordings ?

It worked for me. Thursday Night football. Will check again after Sunday’s games.

I’m still ending up with games that are recorded under a show titled ā€œNFL.ā€ (It has a period after NFL.) The games are named by date and have no information, despite the Guide having the correct data when watching.

Any suggestions? I feel like I’ve tried every combination of settings and agents I can imagine.

I did after reading this, and it doesn’t appear to have made any difference.

This should not be happening if you are using 1.18.2.2029 and you have DVR Settings for Enhanced Guide disabled.

Would like to see some logs and screenshots - may need to have a look at the db files if the logs do not identify the issue

So screenshot of the DVR Advanced Setting page confirming ā€œEnhanced Guideā€ is off and Server logs after completing an NFL recording and matching to ā€œNFL.ā€

I’m on server 1.18.2.2029 and it seems to be working for me. I did turn off enhanced guide data earlier in the week and refreshed the guide.

This is how mine looks after recording games on November 17th.

Sundays games all have the date for the title. They originally said Episode-11-17. I also watched the Raven’s game and it marked every game from that day as watched.

Version 1.18.2.2029
Confirmed that the enhanced guide is unchecked.

Something still is not right.

It is still matching to NFL.
So we need to investigate and to start with see my post a couple of posts above yours NFL Recordings - #72 by sa2000

Could you also download the main database and send me the zipped database or link to it if you upload to google drive / Dropbox etc

The download database link is on the same troubleshooting page as logs download

It worked perfectly for me. All four games recorded show up in the media player with correct names. I started watching one game (Texans at Ravens) and only that game shows as being partially watched.

OK, I appreciate you taking an interest. I’ll assemble what you’ve requested and get back in touch.

Wished mine looked like that. What’s funny is it did last year. I’m recording ota using hdhomerun, enhanced is unchecked and just updated to Version 1.18.2.2041.

Need to investigate why it is not working for some users. May be database corruption stopping the enhanced guide flag from being removed

Anyway. See NFL Recordings - #72 by sa2000 and also NFL Recordings - #76 by sa2000

Well, after the latest upgrade, my NFL games (at least last night’s game) are being recorded correctly. Thanks for looking into this issue.

I can tell you as a data point that I did not have DB corruption and was experiencing the naming issue, at least not corruption that’s apparent via the sqlite ā€œintegrity check.ā€ I know this because I DID have an issue with corruption a few weeks ago and rebuilt the DB in a good state.

I’m worried that I’m going to have a problem on Sunday when I record multiple games, but I’ll let you know. Thank you.
