You might want to go into Settings - Plex for Windows - Player and play with “Use Hardware Decoding” and the “Video Playback Quality” selector.

Now that 1.14.0 has been released, those of you who added the gpu-context=d3d11 to your mpv.conf file can remove it. We have made D3D11 the default gpu-context on Windows. For those of you who need to go ANGLE for performance reasons, you can now do this in the GUI in the Quality settings. You’ll see there are is a new entry for each of the Low and Normal quality that have (ANGLE Renderer) at the end. This is the same setting except that it’ll use ANGLE instead of D3D11.
