No access to settings from dashboard since updating to 1.14.1.5488

Since updating (via a full reinstall because the check for updates feature wasn’t working) I am unable to access any server settings on my plex server. Clicking on any of the settings menu links simply brings up “Server settings are unavailable.” As currently it also shows my remote access as unavailable this is something I actually greatly need. Any pointers in the right direction would be great. Server runs on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Try https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/

Unfortunately, no luck with that. I’m going to try a full uninstall and reinstall again since I have no other option here.

STOP!
Try first disabling ‘Secure Connections’

Shut down Plex server with its tray icon
import the following settings into your registry secureconns_disable.zip (363 Bytes) (unzip first, then double-click)
start plex server
connect to http://127.0.0.1:32400/web with your web browser

Actually, already fixed it Otto. I’m actually a linux admin myself with some Windows knowledge. What I wound up doing was removing the entire Plex directory from the registry before the reinstall. All good now but thanks for the first insight as that pointed me in the correct direction.
