No default games in library, tried multiple times

Hey folks, super excited about Plex Arcade but having a challenge. hoping to get a little direction on this one:

  1. Updated Plex to Version 1.21.2.3943
  2. Paid for Arcade subscription.
  3. Connected a Parsec account.
  4. Confirmed it’s connected.
  5. Added a Games library. Have tried this both with and without selecting a folder.
  6. Made sure the checkbox to add default games was checked.
  7. Nothing in the games library. Have done this at least 4 times, with reboots and such in between.

Appreciate any help!

so sorry you’re having trouble! i suspect you’re running into one of the issues which will be fixed in the next release, but for now you can download the games from https://files.plexapp.com/gaming/roms/Games.zip and unzip them wherever you want to point the library to.

Thanks @elan, that fixed it. I see the games. Having issues getting some to play, but some work. Assume that’s a beta thing.

Addionally, I’m unable to add my own ROMs and have them show up.

  1. I’ve created a new folder for them and added it to the library.
  2. I’ve set up directories “Arcade” and “Atari 2600” (named just like Plex does).
  3. I’ve set up a folder for the game itself inside those directories.
  4. I’ve added the ROM inside that folder (same name as the folder).
  5. Of course, refreshed the libraries a couple times.

BTW, these two test ROMs I’ve added work fine on my Raspberry Pi Recalbox.
