Hey there guys!
I was totally hyped when I saw that Plex now offers retro games - Genius!!! However, as the title of this thread goes I don’t have any games in the just set-up games library.
Sidenotes:
Plex Arcade subscribed
Games library setup
Parsec account linked
Re-authorized Parsec account already several times
Am I overseeing something? I also already refreshed the library’s metadata and scanned it, but the games just don’t seem to appear for me.
I have the same issue. One thing of note with my setup, the PlexData folder (PlexData\Plex Media Server) is on a separate drive (D:). When I add the Library in Plex nothing is created for default etc.
Yes, it’s the same for me @Talonzme. I have the PlexData on a seperate drive too and the …\Plex Media Server\Games is not present, even though it was created during the setup. Any help with that?
Hey there again. I’ve dug a bit deeper in the matter now and I’m trying to launch my own games. However, when I’m trying to launch them, I get the error code:
The core mapping file is missing a core for Nintendo 64.
Fehlercode: 8003 (Game Setup)
I’ve downloaded the core dlls already and placed them into the correct folder, but I’d get the same error every time (Also already rebooted my PMS)
This article claims there should be a RetroCores.xml file somewhere within the Plug-In Support directory. For me it isn’t. I already played a few stock Atari games but neither manual search for that file nor windows search within the folder found that xml file. Could somebody give me the exact folder location where it should reside in?
This way I might be able to map the .dll files correctly. Maybe you have an idea @anon18523487?
@anon18523487 the issue here is that it doesn’t even appear on the server menu.
When logged in and I go to plex.tv/arcade it still shows that I need to sign up and when I sign up it says I’m already signed up
