I have two external drives on my Mac Mini that contain my Movies and TV shows. Just updated to the latest version of PMS Version 1.20.3.3401 and trying to add folders that were working prior, so I thought I would delete and re-add. Now when I go to add the folders I can see the drive but none of the folders on the drive. I have read the topics and can’t figure out how to get the permissions of that drive and all subfolders to allow Plex to see them.

If you are using Catalina or Big Sur then as far as I know you need to specify apps which can access drives in the Security and Privacy system settings.

You my friend are a life saver, I had forgotten i upgraded the Mac OS the week prior.
This worked and we are back to watching our movies through the Plex app on the AppleTV.
