No HD Channels but I get them on Kaffine Media Player

Setting up my Hauppauge WinTV-DualHD tuner for Plex.

I’m running a Ubuntu 24.04 with the latest plex media server.

I’ve installed Kaffine media player to check my tuner works and I get all my standard SD and HD for me in my area (In the UK, NG5).

Going through the setup for tuner on Plex, I only get SD channels. I try a different postcode (NG4, NG1), however these give me less channels with no HD channels.

Anything I’m doing wrong for the setup on Plex?

Just made a 22.04 VM and assigned the tuner to to that. Setup TVheadend and Antennas, all working fine.

If you are able to setup Plex on 22.04, not 24.04, I would suggest it since that is the lastest version of Ubuntu that hauppague supports with this tuner.
