No internet

No yjat I don’t have internet Plex says it needs internet to authenticate. Is there a way to make Plex work without internet access now that the internet is already off?

Actually if you already have your metadata and you are not using Plex Home you do not need the internet at all to rune Plex locally.

Just set your server to have “Secure connections” disabled under your network settings and set all your clients to “Allow insecure connections” to “On same network”

After that Plex should allow you to stream locally just fine.

Of course you cannot access your server by using http://app.plex.tv but rather you need to use
http://AddressOfYourServer:32400/web/
ex: http://192.168.1.13:32400/web/

I am subject to not infrequent internet outages and I can stream Plex just fine during those times.

Of course, without internet, you cannot add movies or TV shows to your library except in the most rudimentary ways.

Yes, this exactly what I want to do, but I can’t access Plex via http://AddressOfYourServer:32400/web/
to make the changes because the internet is already down and I get the following message “Plex is unreachable, make sure your server has internet connection…”
Is there any other way to get into it?
