When I try to upgrade my library using the the new Plex Movie/Plex Series agents, nothing matches. I also get “No Matches Found” if I try to match with a manual search.
This happened once before and I solved the problem by going back to the “legacy” agents (“Plex Movie Scanner”/“Plex Series Scanner” scanners w/ “The Movie Database” agent); this fixed my problem. After a few weeks, I tried the new agents again and they worked for several months, until a few days ago, they stopped finding matches again.
I attempted to give clean logs by deleting them before sending. I switched back to the “new” agents, and have attached new logs; hopefully they contain what is needed. Thanks!
this was just an example, this movie has been in my collection for 2 years. matched up before. now i get this with everyone of my titles, regardless of my naming. prior to yesterday, all movies matched to something, even if it was wrong because of my naming.
I had a previous bad copy of Godzilla, it was with.avi. Been on the server for several years. Ripped a better version and name it Godzilla (2014).mp4. Still no match. My synology server is for movies only, whereas my win10 has Series (TV shows) and what I get from my broadcast tuner. Match is working fine on the win10 server
There is a known issue currently with the matching system where it just dies and requires a server reboot. (Note I asked for that in the post prior too)
I had rebooted the server (Windows PC) before posting this issue, and it did not seem to solve the problem. Just now, however, a reboot seems to have cleared it up.
How do you reboot Plex through the Synology NAS? Thanks
edit Glad I came across this thread. Been tearing my hair out for weeks because the Metadata hasn’t been working. Now sorted by rebooting Plex on my Synology drive. Thanks everyone.
