No metadata for Tv shows

Thank you for the logs.

I am not seeing “Vietnam” referenced by the scanner. Are you certain the Drive lettter & directory containing it are referenced in the Library section?

Also, I would like to point out your naming is, in some places, not standard and will cause problems at some point. At minimum, the directory containing all those items will get very full and difficult to manage.

You should correct this as it’s an error: J:\The Simpsons\The.Simpsons.S09E20.The.Trouble.With.Trillions.720p.HDTV.DD5.1.x264-CtrlHD.mkv
Should be (something like) J:\TV Series\The Simpsons\Season 9\The.Simpsons.S09E20.The.Trouble.With.Trillions.720p.HDTV.DD5.1.x264-CtrlHD.mkv

FileBot and TheRenaming are two excellent tools. They both perform internet lookups using the name you give (drag & drop). They then suggest clean & proper (already matched) names which PMS will find. When you click ‘rename’ it does the work. They can also create perfect structure for you.

FileBot has a {plex} renaming template for both Movies and Television. It takes all the mess out of keeping it proper and easy to manage

For reference, the naming rules are linked in my signature

Thank you for getting back to me.
I’m not the user with the Vietnam thing. I believe that was Harlequin.

Anyway I did as you suggested and it solved the problem. I wasn’t aware of the exact tree needed because it worked fine before.
Thank you so much.

The PMS scanner is flexible and powerful but not infallible. Having everything in the root is problematic. I believe there is a tech note about that as well. (If not, I’ll see one is added)
