Just as an FYI, I started experience this issue exactly a week ago on Saturday, so perhaps the issue has been ongoing. Did the dance, no change. Perhaps just my bad timing. I’ll give it a shot again later today.

I’ve added TV episodes and they have populated…
The issue for most of us I think is theTvDb images/posters/banners not showing up for newly added shows, in my case I re-created my server as I’m moving from windows to linux and I am getting images for maybe 10 out of 200 shows.
Simply adding episodes to an existing season shouldn’t even request this info so you wouldn’t see the same issue.

I have two existing TV shows that I’ve added episodes and no description is populating. A new TV series I’ve added has populated descriptions but no artwork. This issue started 4 days ago.
EDIT: Existing shows now have descriptions. New show still has no artwork.
Also now have this image issue after migrating from Manjaro to Arch and having to fetch images for posters/season/background as a result of dealing w/ new server. Cast pictures seem to work fine as do episode descriptions.
I only have a show poster for 1965 Thunderbirds out of like 14 TV shows. Running Plex Pass 1.16.3.1433
Another good reason to add TVmaze as a alternative TV Agent.

Still happening on my end with Bill Maher for example, Preacher on the other hand got Posters.
Ah you are correct! I saw this on Reddit, thought I’d pass it along and was SCHOOLED! Sorry for the confusion! 
I emptied the caches and Refreshed Metadata for show that wasn’t downloading artwork and now it’s working fine.
I emptied caches in /Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Caches/ (rm -rf on both com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb and com.plexapp.agents.themoviedb) and am no longer seeing this issue after a restart.
Yup can confirm. I deleted just “com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb” & my TV library is getting Artwork again.

Well dang. I guess my issue is different somehow because I removed these and I’m having the same problem.
Did you stop PMS before clearing caches?
Worked for me without stopping pms.
I previously cleared the cache while the server was running and it didn’t fix the issue. I just stopped the server and cleared the server and it fixed the issue.
