When using Plex on my Xbox One, I used to get the "Unexpected error" every while whilst on wireless. I have switched to ethernet however, and since then I very frequently get "No Network Connection" errors whilst playing videos on my Xbox One using Plex - I also occasionally get the "Unexpected error" errors. No other client has any problems with my server and network connection, and no other device has problems with the ethernet connections. My Xbox One also shows no signs of ever disconnecting from the network. Does anyone have any ideas on how to sort this?
Yeah I'm getting a mix between network errors and unexpected errors. I want to point out also that the web client and iOS client on the same network work perfectly fine.
I really hope a developer cares to enlighten us on an eta for a fix.
Just got some logs for the unexpected error. I urge everyone else who has an issue with it to try and do the same so that no one can say "we can't fix this until we get some logs" - which, to be fair, they can't.
Thanks for the responses, glad to see it's not just me. I am on a wired connection, which is when this problem started - before I was wireless and would just get Unexpected Errors (although I still get those). I have attached my log file to help with the debugging. Hope the developers manage to get a handle on the Xbox One client soon, as it works fine on everything else I use (web, PS3, iOS).
Running Plex Media Server on Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials, if that makes a difference.
