No option to add users! Was it moved to somewhere else?

I no longer have an option to add users. I have no idea when it might have vanished but it ain’t there now. I am able to edit existing users’ library access, create Home accounts, and enable the Guest account but adding new users… nope.

Plex Windows server Version 1.26.0.5715

IIRC this is now split in 2 sections:

  1. Plex Home
  2. Grant Library Access (Friends)

You should be able to see those in the settings or via your user profile.

Thanks, I think I’ve figured it out now. I’d kept looking for a Users option and couldn’t find one. I should have known it would be hidden and renamed. I haven’t added a new user in a couple years and thought there might be a problem with my account after reading that only Plex Pass can create user accounts.

It was more intuitive the way it used to be.

Well… it appears it wasn’t all intuitive for everyone, e.g. considering all the users who accidentally joined somebody else’s Plex Home

I agree that splitting home users and friends into two sections is a good thing, but the naming of the sections could be more intuitive. Maybe “Plex Home Users” and “Plex Friends.” “Manage Library Access” clearly suggests it’s all in one place.
