For the last 2 days no poster art is being downloaded.
Ive tried the 'fix here but that didnt help
Metadata looks to be fine however
Have also tried:
Restarting computer/PMS
Rearranging the metadata agents
Using a VPN in case its blocking my IP
Creating a new library
Any other ideas? I havent installed any new software or changed any settings. No antivirus or networking blocking apps are enabled.

Wherever your Plex Media Server directory is (may be in appdata), youâll want to go to /Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Caches/ and delete everything in there. It may take a while, as there can be thousands of files in there.
After it is emptied, refresh the metadata for the movies or shows that arenât updating.
Turn off the VPN - that just cured a mysterious problem for another user.
(if clearing those caches doesnât provide relief)

Iâve quit PMS and deleted the directory:
~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Caches
but that hasnât fixed the issue. Any other ideas?
Without knowing if the files are MP4/MKV/Other - or knowing what they are - or without knowing how theyâre named and structured - Try this:

Enable Debug Logging
Disable Verbose Logging
Plex Dance a show or movie thatâs misbehaving - see what happens - wait 5 minutes Get some logs:
Server/Settings/Troubleshooting
Drag zip file to message window and drop it.
Then weâll know a lot more than we know right now.

Thanks, I should have mentioned that these are all movies that have been matched before and are named like below:
The Shining (1980).m4v
Yesterday (2019).m4v
They are in mp4 or mkv formats, in a structure /PLEX/Movies/Movie name (Year)/ Iâve also tried the plex dance but I will try your suggestions now and revert back.

Something isnât happening somewhere - the logs should show where itâs going wrong.

TV Shows are still being matched with their poster art. I have just tested adding a new show.
The last 2 movies I see in your log are âMrs Doubtfireâ and âKubo and the Two Stringsâ. It appears both were matched properly and obtained their metadata, even looked for extras and the trailer. Iâm not seeing a problem.

Yes they are matching correctly and Iâm getting all the metadata. However there is no poster artwork for any of my movie libraries (including the TESTmovies library I just created)
TV Shows artwork is working fine though?

Ok. lets check if the poster exists in Plex.
1- call up the XML for a movie
2 - find the text that looks like âthumb=â/library/metadata/xxx/thumb/yyy".
3 - in the pageâs URL you should see at the beginning âlibrary/metadata/xxxâ that matches step 2
4 - add the â/thumb/yyyâ portion into that URL
Do you see the full size poster for that movie? If you do then the poster was downloaded and itâs the scaled down version that is needed for Plex Web that is failing.
Iâm having the same issue on Ubuntu server. I wasnât able to find what you specified above but perhaps itâs because my issue is with TV Series. This is the xml of a series that has no poster art downloaded. The /art folder does contain the mentioned items and they show in the Background section in the Plex interface but other than that the folder only contains XML files.

Ok, so there appears to be a file, but itâs blank. Like it was unable to save the poster.
Can you check if this file exists and if it is more than 0 bytes in size? That should be the poster for Harry Potter and the Sorcererâs Stone.

Oh nevermind on the above. Review your logs further, I think itâs a DNS rebinding issue.
