I recently migrated everything from an old PC to a Synology DS1019+.
The migration worked, but not without some issues.
Currently, no new media is getting posters automatically selected when metadata is retrieved.
Instead, I get a clip of the source and I go back later to choose a poster. No need to “fix match” or anything. I just click the pencil and select a poster. All other metadata is correct.
I have seen similar reports and I have tried those solutions.
So, what i have done so far…
- In Agents, I have turned off local media assets for plex movie and tmdb in both Movies and Shows).
- I have turned off IPv6 in the PMS and Synology.
- I have done the Plex Dance and it worked off and on when I was shuffling libraries, but is not something I want to do when new media arrives.
I have tried refresh metadata and a I get 500 error in the logs that looks like
