Today I noticed that all my TV shows were missing from the Program Schedule. Looking at the list of shows, none of them had anything scheduled. Yesterday everything worked just fine and I do remember seeing shows scheduled for today, but they are now gone. This has been working perfectly for months now, so not sure why it just stopped with nothing changing.
What I first tried was upgrading to version 1.6.1.3722 which did not help.
I deleted the DVR and re-configured it, but did not help.
Went really crazy and deleted the entire Plex database and started over but it did not help.
What I have noticed is that I seen in the Program Guide, Upcoming Movies, Sports and News, but no TV Shows. If I try and search for any TV Show, I get nothing.
I have made sure that channels that the shows I record on (ABC, NBC, CBS etc) are checked as a channel under the DVR settings. I have also refreshed the program guide multiple times, but nothing still for TV Shows.
I also connected to my HD HomeRUN Prime just to make sure there is signal coming in, there is for all those channels.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this working again?
I also noticed something odd with my DVR today. The channel line up not longer has all the channels offered by my provider (FIOS). I only see channel numbers up to 126 or so. Everything above that has no mapping options. Is anyone else seeing things like this?
My Plex DVR ■■■■ the bed about a week or so ago. I decided to abandon my HDHomerun Prime and cable subscription and cable card and move to Playstation Vue with just high speed internet from Fios(new almost gigabit connection).
I’ve updated Plex server, verified that my channels are selected correctly, rebooted windows, and refreshed the EPG multiple times (each showing a few hundred items being added…)
I have one show under “On Now”, another episode of the same show on “Upcoming”, some other show under “new episode”, and one upcoming movie.
I really want to record the hockey games tonight, and with this not working i won’t be able to.
Same issue here. when I retry setting up DVR it first selects wrong cable provider (Charter) and when I select Comcast it only populates the drop down channel up to 320. Comcast goes up to 1800+ now. It was working fine up until now. It started with my program guide not showing more than a few items (and just a couple days), to only showing what I already recorded. Decided to delete my DVRs and re-add them, and that’s when the problem started with not allowing me to populate all the channels anymore. Anyhelp on this would be greatly appreciated.
Same here for me. I’m assuming Grace note was down or something. LOL tried the xmltv thing and everything (turns out it doesn’t work on windows machines, only Linux). Anyways, like you said, checked this morning when I got up, and all channels were back. to speed things up on getting it up to date, just deleted DVR and added back and reselected the channels I use.
Next time, before I go to far, I’ll wait before going through hoops, and just try to refresh my EPG in 24 hours.
I’ve been having this problem for several weeks now. The only solution I’ve found is to delete the dvr, and re add back the dvr and channel mappings. This is incredibly frustrating, as it happens out of nowhere and I sometimes miss recordings if I’m not keeping on top of it.
Does anyone know of a sustainable solution?
You can also try just a reboot of the server. Rebooted mine early this morning. Had EPG data for the next two weeks but was missing some shows that were scheduled this morning. Reboot and refresh of EPG picked up the missing shows. Hopefully the issue will be resolved with next release whenever that might be.
I deleted and re-added my DVR. Same issue. Any schedule recording displays “No upcoming airings”. Only shows I can record are the ones that are live.
I hope they fix this soon. I’ve attached my logs.

The main issue is that I’m no longer able to record any shows. I have attached the 3rd screen shot that displays a ‘Not’ symbol on the ‘Record’ drop-down list.
