Been looking through the forum and haven’t found the answer to my issue so thought I would post here:
I have PMS Version 1.13.0.5003 installed (64 bit version manually downloaded and updated) on my Syno 918+, I have an HDHomeRun Connect and am getting the above error “No Write Access to Destination”
I have checked permissions on the plex user, it has R/W on the Video folder where I store my recordings. I have added my Plex Pass username as a user and given permissions same as plex (R/W). I can provide logs if necessary as I tried to look through them and am unsure which one to look at, there are lots.
What am I missing??? It’s driving me a bit nuts…TIA
Did you delete your library recently? I encountered this same issue. Turns out all the recordings that were set are pointing to the old library. Unfortunately you’ll need to delete all your schedules and recreate them.
I have not deleted my library recently and it happens even on spur of the moment recordings like when I am testing it out after making permission changes but thanks for the ideas.
I have the same problem … No write access to destination on my FreeNas 11.4 and it’s a new setup so i don’t understand why i cant get it to record??? can anyone help me please… i tried to look for permission but i cant find where i would have to look for that.
I have now come back to plex and set it up from scratch and get the same. Like the op I have given the plex user full access to the tv shows folder on my has, which is where I think the dvr wants to put the recordings. The nfs share on the nas all users mapped to admin user on the has which also has full write access, yet the message persists. Did any of you work out what was wrong? Coz I’m stumped too.
