Nonstop ads with lifetime plex pass

I’m getting up to an ad a minute whenever I watch a video using the android client – of my own, on my own NAS. I’ve a lifetime Plex pass and this is beyond disgusting. I can’t imagine why the company is doing this, other than that they really wish to completely destroy themselves and enrage loyal users. There is of course no way of getting actual support other than posting here, so that’s what I’m doing.

Pausing a video = another #)*#P* up to 12 ads.

Has Plex chosen to become scumware? DO you really want to be viewed as moronically evil?

the only ads on plex are for video on demand content. plex pass does not remove the ads from video on demand.

if you are getting ads on your own content, it sounds like your phone has been infected or otherwise has installed some kind of malware/adware.

you should take a screenshot and paste it here next you have an add pop up.

To be clear, Plex does not include ads to your content. Only those provided freely in the Movies & TV section as mentioned above. The ads should not appear every minute. If so, there is a problem. I would need your to reproduce the issue then provide me the log from the Android app.
