Alright guys, it’s all fun and games until the kids wake up. Loving the experimental player so far except no HDR but more importantly the god 'ol Apple setting “Reduce loud sounds” of course is now unavailable. This is my second wish after HDR. I wish you all a Happy and Fruitful Year 2019.

I too miss the “reduce loud sounds” option from the new player. I don’t like the triple tap to fast forward/ rewind option. I have accidentally enabled that so many times its ridiculous. It would be nice to have an option to turn that off and/or go back to the click to fast forward/rewind 10 seconds option. That was so much better.
For HDR just wait a bit more 
“Reduce loud sounds” is a bit more complicated… but we’ll see what we can do. Definitely not high priority for us, though… sorry! 
Is is still possible to activate this system wide on Apple TV. Sad that Apple doesn’t provide an API for this. Then again I guess you are completely bypassing native stuff with the new player.
