Server Version#: 4.42.1
I have 3 servers, 1 local and 2 remote. None of my devices besides plex on Edge shows all 3 servers online at the same time. Ive tried a roku, a PS4, firestick TV, an android, and an Iphone. I know they are all on because it will show it on Edge, but whenever I log into a different app the app usually shows 1 or 2 servers offline. What’s weird is that the roku will show server 1 and 2 offline and then Ill log into a different device that shows 2 and 3 offline, but 1 online. Even going between different managed users on the same device shows different servers offline/online. Thanks for any help.
I only have one Plex server so I haven’t played around with it the functionality of multiple servers, that being said I’m a trained network administrator that knows the Plex settings pretty well. Boasting three years of 96% uptime and above
In the Network settings on your servers, can you confirm if the Secure Connections is set to Preferred?![]()
Let’s set them all to that just incase if they aren’t already (I use this always to avoid issues). I’ve also noticed a Custom Server access URLs box further down the Network Settings page, probably wouldn’t hurt if you included all your server IPs in here
Now on the client apps(roku, firestick whatever) make sure that in General Settings(this may differ depending on the device but not sure) that the Allow Fallback to Insecure Connections is set to Always

More then a few times have I had troubles connecting from outside and this was the problem either due to a fresh install on a new device or a update changing this back to Never.
I use these settings myseIf, perhaps you want to always have secure connection but might be worth trying this just for troubleshooting. G’luck
Thank you! I had preferred set, but I didnt have it set to always allow fallback and that seemed to fix it completely. Thanks again!
