Hi Everyone,
Been using plex for a very very long time now. have honestly never tried remote access feature.
But now I would like to and am running into an issue.
I have my modem from my ISP here in Thailand where I live that is connected to my Google Wifi pod that I use as my wifi router that in turn is connected to a switch. my synology DS918+ is connected to this switch.
I have gone through the process of port forwarding and setting up a static IP address for the NAS device using the google wifi app. I’m 99% sure I followed the steps correctly. But I still have the problem below.
Weirdly, it does how as “available outside your network” for a brief few second before it turns red. And if i keep hitting retry it’ll become “available outside your network” but only for a brief few seconds before it goes back to being the way it is below.
I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.
