Not getting any metadata the past couple days, even manually

I added a bunch of movies to my library the past couple days, and while I can get correct matches to those movies, no metadata is being retrieved. I have matched using various agents successfully, rearranged the agents used for getting various metadata (Plex Movie legacy and new, Cinefile, fanrt, themoviedb), but nothing changes. I have full connectivity to imdb, themovie db etc. I’m stumped.

I rebooted the server and everything is working now. Restarting the Plex server did not help. Once I rebooted it was better. Weird.

Hello, I’m having the same issue.

By rebooting the server you mean the the PC? Or is this another procedure within the app?

EDIT: I turned off my PC and started the Server again, and the problem remains… All my new movies’ metadata is incomplete, and the “Originally Available” date is 1900-01-01 in all of them.

I don’t know if this issue is related to the latest update on the Server or what can I do to solve this.

What agent is being used for your library? Plex Movie or Plex Movie (legacy)

I Rebooted the PC. Restarting Plex didn’t help

I tried all of them. It wasn’t responding to refresh metadata and had issues with unmatch and fix match. Rebooting the PC fixed it.

Hello.

My main library uses Plex Movie (legacy) and I created a secondary for testing with Plex Movie.

In my case, rebooting the PC did not fix it.

I would try changing your DNS servers to Googles https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns
