Not getting User Profile screen after navigating away PLEX on TCL TV

I’m on TCL TV (c6k) running on Google TV.
I have a profile with pin and another without pin.
After going in to the profile with pin and navigating out of PLEX (say you press the HOME button). If we go back to PLEX, it just goes direct to the previous profile and doesn’t prompt for pin. I have to manually select switch user to “log off”.

However, NETFLIX app works fine. If you move away from netflix and go back, it will always re-prompt for the PIN.

It was working fine on an older PHILIPS 70put8215 android TV. After moving away from PLEX, going back in will always go to the User selection screen where you get prompted again for the pin.

Is it a TV problem or a PLEX app problem?

I’m not sure but I woulds think it is Android keeping the app alive in memory until another takes it’s place. I’m not sure how the app detects it is not in the foreground anymore but will make a report for this.

Do you know what version of Android is on that TV?

It’s android 12

On the working philips is android 11.

Did you enable the setting for Automatically Log In on the Plex app?

No. That option is set to off.
