Not Loading Metadata for Movies since 08/03/19.

I’ve changed the agent and scanner but to no help. Since last Friday, Plex does not bring the Metadata down. is any one else having this issue. or any idea why this is happening?

Disable IPv6 support in Windows and re-install Plex Media Server
like this:

  • Stop/quit/end Plex Server with the tray icon
  • deinstall Plex Server with the regular ‘Apps’ control panel of Windows (do not use 3rd party ‘Uninstaller’ software like Revo etc.)
  • for safety, reboot Windows
  • download the installation exe afresh and install it

(If you want to install an older version of PMS, take a look into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Updates)

Hi, thanks for the reply. IPv6 is already disabled. I did this and still the same. the only thing i did on the day it started was install Hyper-V on the server. Wouldn’t of thought that would of have any issues.

Is this a Windows “Server” edition?
If so: Plex Media Server not downloading artwork (Yes, another one...)

Yeah, Windows Server 2016 STD. Before i followed the link i removed Hyper-V and restarted. Plex started working again (no idea).

After a few Windows Updates, i re enabled Hyper-V and Plex still works ( again no idea)… I’ll keep an eye on this and see if it happens again.
