Not Matching Movies and TV Shows

Player Version#: 3.67.1 (is this same as web client?)

Hello, I have plex media server running in jail. Everything was working fine yesterday, but then I noticed movies and TV shows were not being matched.

Steps I’ve taken to resolve this:

  1. Click “Match” and try to search for movie name, but no results are shown. In fact, searching for anything does not show any matches.
  2. Deleted cache folder in “Plug-In Support” directory and restarted the jail, but the problem persists.

I’ve attached logs to this post. These logs were downloaded after #1 and #2 were attempted above. Verbose logging is turned off. I cannot update to the newest plex media server because it’s not in the freenas repo yet.

There is an issue atm with the metadata server @ plex.tv although we have no word yet on how or what exactly.

Best fix is to sign out update then sign back in but no guarantee’s

Found a solution on the FreeNAS forums if anyone else is having issues. It’s related to network settings which can easily be fixed from the GUI. Here’s a link:

Confirmed as Working its looks like the iocage jail needs to use vnet. I have asked some technical details about why.
