Not Receiving Reset Email When Using Forgot Password

Hello,

I remember I created a Plex account years ago but I don’t remember the password. I tried doing the forgot password reset but I’m not getting the reset email! I also tried registering a new account with that email account and it shows that the email address is already registered so I know the account should be “live”.

How do I get this reset email? I’ve checked my spam folder and everything.

Which email address was used?

This being hotmail, have you looked in all folders?
Microsoft tries to categorize your mail into ‘relevant’ and ‘rest’ and shows by default only the ‘relevant’.

Yes, I’ve gone through all the folders, including the “focused” and “other” and spam. The search function also doesn’t show any emails from Plex.

Hotmail has acknowledged the email as “queued for delivery”.
Which means it has received the email, but it is delaying it intentionally.

There’s nothing that can be done to change that in the Plex side.
