Not scraping Movie metadata after last update? [MacOS: 10.13.6 / Plex: 1.22.3.4707]

@ChuckPa, ok… here is my current logs:
Plex Media Server Logs_2021-06-30_15-20-01.zip (2.1 MB)

Since doing the EmptyTrash/CleanBundles/OptimizeDb you requested… I’m still not getting new movies to scrape. And now… in fact, it somehow dumped and is rebuilding a lot of my TV metadata, but… it’s now been several days and a lot of those TV shows are NOT rebuilding and now have no metadata in Plex.

There seems to maybe just be a massive hangup in all metadata scraping?

I’m Mac dude and i recommend the latest Beta. Ok, I said beta. It is a stable build and should resolve your issue. If not I will show you how to revert back to your current built without a lot of ho har, no downloads necessary.

I’ve tried everything, and still am not scraping correctly. TV shows as well as movies now.
Please help?

@ChuckPa or @BigWheel?

That looks like GROSSLY misstructured media.

Something went wrong with the renaming tool / macro / script/

A MOVIE in a “TV Shows” directory ?

Inconsistent punctuation in episode name… Use one or the other please.

Thanks @ChuckPa, I don’t think it was associated with the current issue… but I did have a miscopied symlink in the Batman&Robin folder that created an infinite loop. That’s been deleted now! (It’s not a movie, but a 1949 serial series).

As for Crusade, I renamed those files as you think it will help, however they’ve been loaded and scraped by Plex for a few years now with no issue I’ve discovered. I renamed that directory as you recommended, they are still scraped correctly in Plex but the other TV series and movies are still not scraping correctly.

Is it possible to “downgrade” to a previous Plex Media Server build? Maybe that is the issue? How do I do that easily without losing the current file data of the library and having to rebuild the whole thing from scratch?

Well, no idea what’s wrong with the current build of Plex I was using @ChuckPa & @BigWheel.

Thanks for the helpful advice @SE56.

I was able to fix everything by following the instructions in this thread to roll back to Version 1.22.3.4523.

I don’t know what’s wrong with version 1.23.3.4707, but hopefully you guys can forward this as a bug report.
