NOTE to people having PMS connectivity issues after password change issue

Just a note, if you’re in my situation. For me, after changing password, my Plex server was not accessible via the Plex app (in browser, or on smart TVs). Also, I couldn’t reach it via web browser with the normal URL:

https://MYSERVER:32400/web

I got this message (in Firefox, Chrome is a little different):

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to MYSERVER:32400. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I banged my head over this for hours, did all sorts of stuff to no avail. Quick and easy solution:

go to http://MYSERVER:32400/web note that is HTTP not HTTPS. I never use HTTP so I never tried it. It gets you in. Then you can log in with your newly changed credentials. Then go to settings, General, and “Claim” the server. Once it’s claimed, you can go back to using HTTPS and all your stuff should be right where it’s supposed to be.
