I just downloaded plex and did everything correct for windows 10 Version 1.8.0.1159-67c4a549 however on the home page or any page for that matter there is nothing about adding your own library… Can someone tell me how to fix this please that would be great! Thank you!

Do you have a plex media server (PMS) installed? If you do, open its Website in a browser (If you can acces your device hosting it, 127.0.0.1:32400/web is your address, otherwise replace with your Router’s assigned IP) and follow the steps to finish setup.
1.8.0 is the version umber of a pure Plex client. You need the Plex server if you want to set up your own libraries.
