We have many devices within the home that can play Plex, however we all seem to have issues with the xbox one which freezes during playback and sometimes stutters, why the xbox and not other devices! even the Amazon Stick works much better, any help would be appreciated.

I have this happening on multiple XBox ones, in multiple homes. happens more with hevc than other stuff…
Also having a lot of issues with PS4’s, and well…most everything besides PC for the last couple months overall…
Heres an odd one, for the best part all my files on the XBox One S now play fine via my Intel NUC i3 server and my Nvidia Shield TV server, it was the case that my movies stutered, and movies upscaled to 4K played paused for a few seconds then played and so on and so forth.
I have discovered that I can watch my 4K movies on the XBox via the Shield server without any issues, however when trying to play the same 4K movies via my Intel Nuc on the XBox it still freezes then plays etc, why would this be!, it also indicates this may not be an xbox issue after all!!
Both servers are fed via a Western Digital My Cloud NAS 5TB hard drive.
