Now Playing / Status not working

I had to rebuild my server and set everything up. Now, when users are watching something, it doesn’t show me an active user. It shows nobody is watching. It will only show an active user when I am watching something on my home network, and I can’t figure out why.

I also use PlexPy and get the same result.

Any ideas?

I am running Windows 7 and Server 1.10.1.4602 and it shows up to date.

Same here with Plex on Linux

Did you ever solve this? I am running on Linux.

+1, I get this periodically. It works 95% of the time, but about 5% of the time it shows nothing as “Now Playing” despite there clearly being something playing. Running latest Plex server on both Windows 7 and Ubuntu.

Still happening, especially often when someone continues playback from the middle of a file.
