Hello,
Latest Plex and shield version.
It was working perfectly well one year ago.
I just moved to another country, reconnected it and updated everything.
It connects to my account but not to the private server i can access through all other means ( web browser, desktop, etc. ).
Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, moving security settings etc. to no avail.
Drom what i have gathered, it may be a certificate issue.
Could you please check this ?

If you moved, make sure that the time and time zone is correct on the shield. If it is not the cert will not be valid and you will not be able to connect. I just had the same issue while traveling to another time zone and my FTV would not connect but worked before I left and that was the issue.

I stayed in the same time zone.
I switched it to test, did not change.
Seems i am not the only one, and getting the reset seems to be quite long … Too bad this is the only way.
you could try this - on the player app, goto SETTINGS > ADVANCED > allow insecure connections and click ALWAYS
