Incidentally I’m not experiencing any of the issues some others have mentioned.
I just thought I’d mention it to those who might also be waiting.
Colours seem to be fine for me, but I end up with massively elevated blacks compared to a native non HDR version of the same file. TV is calibrated and the video level is matched as well so it’s not that. I’ve not tried outside of Plex so maybe it just requires an update to the app.
Are black levels fine for you?
Tried it last night and nothing changed in Plex. I checked for an app update, but didn’t see one.
Kodi works great so I expect I just haven’t gotten the proper version of Plex yet.
EDIT: Not sure why it didn’t work last night, but it seems to be working today. I don’t notice anything negative associated with the picture quality.

This is still not working for me. Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be enabled? Does this work on all shields (e.g. 2017) or just the 2019 model?
