Are there any plans for this to be fixed? Getting constant spinning circles when using the latest Beta and trying to watch movies which used to work flawlessly. UI is also slow and unusable.

The issues you mention are fixed in beta but beta still has major issues. TrueHD files start fine but a few minutes in suddenly stop playback with a never ending spinning wheel requiring me to back out to the main menu. As soon as I load 8.29, those issues go away. Beta is broken.

Can confirm side loading 8.29 from the links provided by @Orange_GT3 has worked. All TrueHD / Atmos content is now working perfectly again. Obviously had to turn off Auto updating of apps in the Play Store for the time being, and will have to keep an eye on things as they develop. Many thanks all…
