Nvidia Shield Pro freezes after resume

Hello,

I’m using Plex with Synology 1019+ as server ( Version 1.20.3.3437) and Nvidia Shield Pro as client (last version, installed 19 oct 20).

Nvidia Shield Pro – hdmi–> Samsung UE65TU7000 – hdmi–> Yamaha RXV667

I’ve bought Pro Shield yesterday because I was fed up with slow Tizen on Samsung ! I’m really happy with my Nvidia Shield Pro (it’s fast, there is no buffering even with 4K (60-80Go file),…).

Unforthunately, I don’t know why, but when I stop a movie (4K-60-80Go file) after like 30 minutes and want to resume it, it resumes quickly BUT the image starts freezing. The sound seems ok but I receive 1 image every 5-10 secondes…

If I restart the movie at the begining I’ve no problem.

I’ve read someone having the same as me but I didn’t see any solution. Someone can help me ?

Hello,

I’ve done some tests and the problem doesn’t appear when I don’t use “Passthrough” in Plex Settings ! Maybe my receiver is to old to manage that kind of format.
