I have purchased NVIDIA Shield Pro and for 3 days now I am trying to install Plex Server and every time I get an error saying that something went wrong and installation failed. I read the instructions and during installation 3rd step it should ask for storage, it never does that. I have given access to my NAS manually to the server. Still nothing… please let me know what logs you need and how to obtain them, and maybe you can point me into the right direction.

there should be later releases on Google Play. Or is that the version that is preinstalled? There was a version a few months ago that had install issues which 1.32.5.7431 should have fixed
I believe it was pre installed. But just to make sure I have updated version I uninstalled it and then reinstalled from the play store.
How do I send logs to you for review, and which logs do you need?
I would just get all of them. There are instructions here on how to get them directly off the shield. You will see an option to message me if you click on my username/avatar. Preferably put them on Google drive or similar and just give me a link.
I just purchased a new Nvidia Shield TV Pro. The Plex Media Server setup fails. Updated Plex Media Server on Google Play. No change. Uninstalled update. No change. Factory reset Shield. Installed Plex from Google Play. No change.
After reading previous posts for same issue, I factory reset Plex and used the existing Plex app. Did not go to Google Play. No change.
At the Google Play store there are numerous new 1-star complaints about this issue. I assume the issue is on your side, but no way to confirm.
Everything else works on the Shield. The Player works and finds my existing Media server.
Current Plex App version 10.1.2.4386. Previously showed 5.6.1.505.

How to Fix the Plex Server 1 uninstall the Plex server. Go to settings / Apps / all Apps / system Apps/ scrool down to Plex server delete data and install. 2 On your shield enter the Playstore go to setting & disable auto updates. 3 download this Newer Version of Plex Server - https://artifacts.plex.tv/plex-media-server-experimental/1.32.7.7596-3a213a531/android_server/PlexMediaServer-1.32.7.7596-3a213a531-5937-3a213a53-shield-arm64v8-samba-release.apk
I have the same issue. Nvidia Shield, brand new out of the box, the server setup for Plex fails. Others have reported the same here.
Is there a plan for Plex to fix?
The process I outlined will get it working, but you have to turn off automatic updates. Temporary at best.
