Just tested it, if you select force direct play (true) in settings the South Park episode will play and continue on to the next section, you also get much better picture quality. If you leave that transcode setting as false it will stop and return to preplay screen. So in default mode it seems to be transcoding.
So my question is, “why is it transcoding if it doesn’t really need to?”
I'm not seeing The Colbert Report and The Daily Show as selectable channels... what am I missing here?
Check the region restricted category in PMS channel directory.

The SouthPark channel transcodes by default because they have a weird habit of using flv videos when we're expecting mp4s. Most clients choke if they get fed an unexpected video format so, we just don't make any guesses as to what format we'll get. It means "wasting" some transcoding where it might not be otherwise necessary but the trade-off is that we know it will play.

so guys i changed the main menu url to my playlist in navi-x and it worked and didn't updated when changing the playlist entries. now after restart the channel is unavailable.
Tomer, the Plexconnect forum is not the place to be discussing troubleshooting the hacking of specific Plex channels. You should ask someone in the NaviX development thread in the Plex Channels forum if what you are doing is even possible.

No, sorry. This doesn't seem to be my playground - it needs to be supported in the transcoder.
Any idea, how/if those channel work on other - native - iOS Plex clients?
I don’t know what is happening under the hood but as a user of the Plex iOS Client, the first section ends and then it returns to the episode list for a second, then it goes back to the player, loads, and then plays the next section.

I'm happy to hear the framework.bundle has been updated. However, I run my PMS on a Netgear ReadyNAS. My Framework.bundle was last updated Jul 31 2013.
Is there anyway I can force PMS to download the updated bundle or get a copy of it from somewhere else to manually update it?

I am still seeing issues with iTV Player & 4OD. 4OD specifically crashes the PMS everytime I try and play something. Not sure if others are seeing the same issue

Is music ever going to be supported? I noticed the iTunes channels are "working" now. The movie one works fine, but since there's no code for music, it basically only lets you browse. And Home Sharing stops working after I open the Trailers app and start using PlexConnect. I have to restart to play music via Home Sharing.
Music works if you make a Plex Music Library and point it at your music on your computer.
As for Home Sharing not working when after you “open” Plexconnect in Trailers, I am not really sure what you mean. I can definitely use Home Sharing including Music even after using Plexconnect.
Oh, I see. I never planned on importing my music into Plex since I could just use the iTunes channel, but I guess that works.
As far as Home Sharing, I'm not sure why it does that, but I always have to reboot before my computer will show up again, Idk. But the only time I use it is for music anyways, so it won't be needed any more.
