Offline browsing worked download and sync does not:
I keep about 50 movies synced to my phone to use as background noise while working. In the past I was able to hit offline browsing and all 50 movies showed up and none of my un-synced items were visible.
Now, I hit download and sync, then movies and I get what I guess is the home screen. It has continue watching at the top with multiple side strollers below that like “Recently added, Unplayed, etc”
Below that are 3 tabs:
1- recommended which is what I referred to as the “home screen above”
2 - library "this is where I would expect to find my synced movies… but it is empty.
3- collections also empty
I know they are on my phone but they are not showing up in the “downloaded sync” library. I can use the search bar and find movies by name and play them from my phone, but that defeats the purpose of browsing. I dont always know what I want to watch.
If I go to my main movie library on the top right hand side there is a filter button. This button has a synced only button. That sounds like it would be equivalent to offline browsing… I check the box and it brings up a box saying no active matches.
So in short if I search by name I can find content that is synced to my phone. It does not show up in my synced library and It does not show up with the synced only filter
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I wish they would not have “fixed” something that was not broke.
