Old version of PlexMediaServer is stopping me from updates

Server Version#:1.13… unsure of the rest
Player Version#:unsure
An older version of Plex is not allowing me to update my media server. I’ve tried to uninstall the program and start fresh but it doesn’t show up in my “uninstall a program” area. I’m running Windows 7 because my wife and family like it. There’s no number to call and I am lost (obviously). I’ve tried going to my Program Files (x86) folder and deleting it from there but it won’t allow me to delete some of the files. Is there an Obi Wan Kenobi on this forum? Because it seems that would be my only hope.

With personal thoughts on that: With the end of support by Microsoft, that is no longer a valid excuse, IMHO. You can consider it as “compromised” by now.
Either you remove the connection to the internet completely (which will make the use as Plex server almost impossible), or you update to Win10. It’s easy enough and still possible to do for free.
