@DaveBinM, Updated to the latest server and made changes to the RA to combine them. Thank you for that by the way!!! I see the RA combined on the web UI, but when I go to the plex app on different mediums like the firestick the RA is still separated out. I have tried clearing data on the firestick, signing out and back into plex on the firestick, restarting the firestick, restarting the PLEX server, uninstalling the app, and reinstalling and signing in and it still has not updated. Is this feature supposed to be automatically added to the other platforms or is it something that we have to wait on, and will come in the next update of the plex for firestick app?
Youâll need to wait on Amazon to approve the latest release for Fire TV devices (v8.16). Itâs currently in review with them, Iâm afraid
OK, Any idea how long that will take?
Depends on Amazon. Out of our hands, Iâm afraid. But hopefully not more than a day or two

Roku: I am not loving the removal of On Deck but the fact that we are now also limited on items in Continue watching is unacceptable. This was configurable why now loose the configurable setting it was my choice to make why now force me.
We have many more shows in the continue watching no longer showing. Most of my users wont remember what they were or even know how to find them.
Regression of features, I hate this change, How unnecessary and inconvenient.
The fact that the Roku canât use watch Lists at all compounds this issue. No user can add anything on Roku to a watch List.
It is configurable if your server is on 1.22.3, so may I suggest updating it if youâre not already on that version?
Plex is moving toward aggregating all modes of streaming media.
All may be an exaggeration, they havenât really said specifically. Paid subs (Netflix, Hulu), Plex free stuff, our own media.
So it seems Plex intends on telling us through recommendations what we should be watching.
They arenât really giving enough details to know what the plans are but itâs becoming obvious that these changes to RA, CW and OD are part of it. Dave has said as much.
People may be a bit more forgiving if they knew what the future was but Plex canât say until they know for sure what will happen.
All of these paid suppliers have to agree to it. I canât see it being very useful if Hulu agrees and Netflix, Prime and others donât. I canât image Amazon agreeing to work with Plex.
Itâs also worth noting that while we as server owners know all our content, users we share with may not, and may find recommended content useful
If Plex could create a splashy custom branded Library section for each participant, I could see it maybe having enough appeal for them to participate. Especially if they implemented my âlabelingâ feature request from a couple years ago to automatically label each participantâs videos when viewed outside their dedicated libraries.
I donât think youâre doing anything wrong. The same thing happens for me. No matter what the library is set to (sort by date) it automatically changes them back to (sort by title)
I donât have the empty space on the right hand side but the function is the same.
I donât generally watch anything on the windows app so I like to keep the libraries sorted by the date added so I can see when I add something right at the top of the screen and make sure it matches correctly
Bug, design change or oversight? IDK anymore
The sorting is a regression introduced in the last update as per this thread
Thanks dokuro
I see this has been addressed and answered
Anyone affected by the restrictions of the new Automated Home screen management, you can vote here: Give users more control over their hubs / compensate the removal of the manually managed Home screen
I canât envision this future media aggregation ever working correctly.
Wouldnât it have to be enabled in every client? They canât get the clients unified as it is. The Android TV client hasnât worked right since itâs initial release has it?
I assume maybe it would be another Online Media Source like the Plex Movies & TV stuff. Hopefully it would be authenticated in the server and Home Users would be able to watch it or not based on those permission settings. Friends would probably have to link up their own subscription through the plex website or something.
Including programming from other apps seems to be the roadmap explaining some of the changes to the OD, CW, and RA
I was also curious how that would work so I visited some of the feature request threads for that hoping to understand it better
These are the responses from Plex moderators
If it was never going to happen and not even accepted as a suggestion less than 6 months ago, what happened?
I was actually looking for any feature requests for combining the OD and CW but I canât find any
Anyone have a link for that?

I just canât think of any constructive way to describe my issues with the monstrosity this home screen change has become. I purposely have always set my sidebar pins DIFFERENT ordered than my home screen.
It was bad enough when I saw it. Now my wife saw it and is not happy.
Wife Approval Factor -11.
Yeah, weâve taken a few steps back but, on the bright side, there are promises of features we donât want coming in the future.
My version is Version 1.22.3.4392. On windows in my plex server it is not an issue. On all my roku players it is max 30. My setting is 100.
All roku players are updated also. They could show many now they are locked at 30.
Where did you get that information from? Can you post a link please, seems i have missed this.
