On Deck has disappeared

What happened to the “On Deck”? As of a couple days ago I now have to search out series that I’m going through instead of having the next episode just appear. I find this very annoying. Any ideas?

The new universal continue watching / on deck has been available as a preview since February and was rolled out to the public in April… as such removing the standalone “on deck” hub.

Honestly I’m confused as I’ve used Plex for years and have always had this feature. How do I get it back?

It’s still there – the “on deck” hub has only been merged with the “continue watching” hub.

Where do I find this hub and how do I add it back to my home screen? Thanks, by the way for all the help!!

Which app are you using exactly? Sounds like you may be using an older one, somehow still on the old method of manually managed home screen, or something is cached.

If using one of the apps with desktop interface see if there is a pencil icon on top right area of home screen. If set on manually manage change it manage automatically. Or you might have to reset customizations.

There is a different way to organizing/managing the recommendation rows on home screen now that is controlled by server. Manage Recommendations | Plex Support

It should function identically to how it did before, just having un-finished videos and in-progress-but-unwatched episodes of the next show all appearing on the same row.

Someone else in this forum had an issue where it seems the merge of these two items appears to have forgotten his “on-deck” tv shows. Finding and starting up an episode manually and finishing it seems to cause Plex to add the show to this feature as it did before. I know it sucks, but you might need to rebuild your on-deck list one more time, and it will be fine going forward.
