It’s real use. This file was produced by xTeVe as dummy entries. For the channel to show up in plex it needs guide data and if there is none avail then a dummy entry must be set in xTeVe in order to produce it. I’m using it as sort of a tuner experiment where a user will select the channel and it will start streaming specific shows 24/7.
You’re right, it’s the same in the official version. It’s been like this for a while but I figured since we are on guide fixes I would mention it…
