I have about 380+ TV episodes synced to my iPad Pro. When I go in to Download & Sync and tap TV Shows under Recommended it shows about 20 episodes. When I tap on the Library link to actually see all my synced content I get the following error message:
On this device is unavailable. Please verify that the server is running and has a network connection.
My iPad does have a network connection as does my Plex Server. I can stream content as normal through Plex on my iPad Pro but the synced content isnât showing.
maybe this screen is meant for another purpose because downloaded content is in the recommended tab below. This plays fine but why the same content isnt in the library tab , i have no f idea.
In the Recommended tab at the bottom for me it only shows about 20 of the 380+ episodes I have synced to my iPad. It also doesnât display it in Episode order. Seems to show it by the episode rating.
I have the same problem. I have a load of music synced to my phone. I can stream it fine, but if I go to âDownloads and Syncâ I just get the message âOn this device is unavailableâ Was working fine up until a few days ago. Thinking of cancelling my premium because I only used it to sync stuff to save on data streaming.
Any chance anyone has an update on this? Or has found a workaround? My synced content shows up fine in the âRecommendedâ tab, but Iâm getting the same error as OP.
I was having the same issue as the OP, but with music as opposed to TV shows. I just updated to v7.0 on my iPhone (released in App Store yesterday 5/26/20), and made sure my media server is up to date as well, and this seems to have resolved the issue.
Same here: I have a ton of syncâd content on my iPhone. Upgrading to the latest Plex client app didnât make a difference. Nor did. upgrading to the latest version of the Plex server. Nor did deleting my syncâd content, and syncing it again. Still get The same meaningless error âOn this device is Unavailableâ when I look in my Library under âDownloads and Syncâ., eve though I just syncâd the content. In my case; it is music content. This is so frustrating.
Here is another weird thing about this topic. Everything of mine is updated to the latest versions. I have uninstalled, re-installed and re-synced it all.
Iâve synced TV Shows to my iPad in âMyâ profile and they are not showing in the Library of the Downloads & Sync section, but do show up in the Recommended tab. But⊠in my âHusbandâsâ profile on my iPad, they show up in both the Library and Recommended tabs in his Download & Sync section. To be clear, these are the shows that I synced via âMyâ profile (not my husbandâs). My husband doesnât even have access to these shows. This problem only started with the last update. There were updates of both the Plex server and the iPad app around the same time so Iâm not sure which one might be the culprit.
It would be nice if this will be fixed as it gets time-consuming and confusing re watched status when I use Plex offline.
Same problem on my iPad (iPad Air 2, running iOS 13.5) . Synced TV-shows are shown in the Recommended tab, but not in the Library tab. Latest version of both PMS ( Version 1.19.4.2865) and the Plex app (Version 7.0) . Have tried to delete and reinstall the app, deleting the synced content and syncing again, but nothing is working. Very annoyingâŠ
Same problem for me too. Happens on multiple devices. However It only seems to happen on some of my libraries and not others. One way around it though it to just into the server library and filter it by synced only. However I would still like this issue solved. Any way to ping a admin or dev? Iâd at least like to know that this is being looked at.
