All of my TV shows are correctly displaying in plex, but one show (black-ish) is not displaying with season folders. its just a big long list of every episode, the episodes are labeled correctly. Plex propery identifies each episode with plot, etc. Season view is set to “show” in the library. Ive removed the show and re-added it. still nothing. any ideas?
can you double-check the season-display settings for that particular show (e.g. if it’s set to “same as library” or “show”)?
that was it, thank you. I didnt realize there were settings per show. thought it was global to the whole TV directory.
it is a per-library setting… that you can override for individual shows
this also creates a new question. I set the Season view on Doctor Who (2005) to hide the seasons, and to display all the episode by air date. Some of you may know that there are many “special” episodes of that show that bridged seasons together. I was hoping that changing the setting to air date would be the obvious solution. For some reason, it still puts these “special” episodes out of order. they show up first in the list.
