Also don’t forget to review the CEC options in Preferences.

Well no not really, it is a fresh install
Got my C2 setup running OpenPHT last night and it works amazing well! Its played all of my 4k samples without issues and is so much faster in the menus than the Pi was.
I will hopefully get it hooked back up to my LED strip and have a go at getting Hyperion going over the weekend and will post my results.
Excellent work guys!
I got problems with OpenPHT, after watching a serie or movie in the evening and go to bed, the next day when i go to OpenPHT it doesnt respond anymore to my harmony remote or if i plug in a keyboard.
I have to remove the power of the C2 and it works again, but the next openpht seems to hang.
I can ping the c2 and ssh to it;
How can i solve troubleshoot this problem?
@samplex
Are you using the GUI for OpenPHT?
The GUI? What else should i use?
And again, when switching to Cable tv and then after a while to plex again no response from the system.
Gonna test of CEC is the problem.
If not im thinking of switching back to the mac mini again, this Rasp Pi and C2 stuff is to much hobby Alpha/Beta stuff
I read this as OpenVPN. But my phone auto corrected it to OpenPHT. Guess I’ve been using it a little too much on the forums.
I haven’t seen the issue you describe with the C2. But I’m not using CEC and I have a WiFI keyboard remote.
Where can i find the log file, i find it strange C2 doesnt respond to IR and keyboard anymore.
Hardy alpha or beta ‘stuff’, three years down the line and over 50,000 happy Rasplex users!
You obviously have either a TV that has a poor implementation of CEC (Panasonic and LG spring to mind), or you have not checked the preferences for CEC on both your TV and in Rasplex/Odroid.
If you are using the Odroid, enable the onboard IR receiver, find a spare remote and switch CEC off.

@NedtheNerd, talking CEC again, I have a pretty recent samsung tv 4k, CEC working well with other devices.
What should I expect with openpht-odroid C2 ? does basic samsung remote keys (arrows, enter, return) are supposed to work through CEC ? (because it is not !)

Logs files are located in /.plexht/temp.

Don’t have a Samsung but see no reason why there should be a problem (I have access to a Panasonic and LG, hence the comment), have you enabled it and checked the preferences?
Perhaps other Samsung TV users might chip in with their comments.
Last resort if something is not working as expected is a complete reflash.

@NedtheNerd
Dont get me wrong, OpenPHT works great on my mac mini but C2 its not stable for me.
I’m using a Sony 55hx850 tv and a Sony STR-860 receiver, the C2 is not directly connected to the tv but to the receiver and the receiver to the tv.
I have no IR option in OphenPHT preferences so dont know what you mean by enabling it.
All works except when i switch back to C2 after watching tv the remote or keyboard dont work / respond any more.

yes sure, it is enabled and it is also detected by the TV. so maybe it is a limitation of the TV ! anybody have samsung TV ?

I may try that !

@samplex I have no issue with C2 for now ! so far so good. I have K400 logitech keyboard, MCE remote.

I dont use a Keyboard or mouse, just a Logitech Harmony remote with MCE Extended profile.
Im looking for the IR option @NedtheNerd is talking about but cant find in openpht.

Similar to my HT setup, using Sony TV and Sony AVR, all operate without any issues, however, I normally use the inbuilt IR with a custom lircd.conf file for an old Panasonic DVD (RC6) remote programmed into my Philips Pronto remote.
I do however test all builds using both CEC and IR on my Sony HT setup and my other TV’s/amps.
I have no IR option in OphenPHT preferences so dont know what you mean by enabling it.
Create a lircd.conf file and put it in the .config folder, this enables the IR (it was in the original hints and tips post), I can give you a copy of mine that will work with any RC6 remote, you may need to change a couple of keys to suit your preferences.

Im using a universal remote Harmony One Plus with MCE profile witch work great.
Dunno if it needs a lircd.conf?
Seems when i switch from to TV or Apple TV watching profile the C2 stops working.
So when i switch to cable tv, the HDMI changes for the C2 to the a Cable tv box HDMI on the Sony AV receiver.
So switching HDMI input signal seems to hang to OpenPHT.
If you are using an IR remote then disable CEC in Preferences.
