I’ve set up a new TV series folder on my server which was set up a few years ago now but things seem to have changed with “Optimise” options
On my existing libraries, i could set the optimise location to either:
- Version storage location; In folders with original items
- Version storage location; /srv/media/tv_series/
But now i can only select “*Version storage location; In folders with original items”
This is important because beforehand i could save all proxy copies in one folder tree that was on a separate drive and “bound” to the location /srv/media/tv_series/Plex Versions
Now i can only save to each TV series folder which means i can no longer separate the proxy copies from original ones.
The result is that backups of my hi res media is now much harder as proxies are mixed in with it
