OTA Closed Captions within Plex Live TV

I cannot get closed captions to appear using Plex Live TV for OTA channels. I have a HDHomeRun Flex 4K tuners, Nvidia Shield TV Pro as a Plex server with 1T external SSD and Plex Pass, connected to a Samsung Monitor. Closed captions for OTA channels work when I use the HDHome app within Shield, but not when I use the Plex app within Shield for Live TV for my OTA channels (Shield Android TV). CC do work in the Plex app within Shield when I select Plex Channels
When I enable CC for the channel I’m watching (at the bottom of the screen, I have options of CC “none” or “unknown (Closed Captions)”.
When I select “unknown (Closed Captions)”, the screen gives a rotating circle showing it’s doing something but never ends. The only way I can get the channel back is to change the CC back to “none”.
Enabling Passthrough made no difference.
Plex Media Server v1.30.2.6563
Shield Version 9.1.1 (33.2.0.157)

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I have a very similar issue and experience to njmti and would appreciate advice or assistance too.

The server might be trying to transcode the stream to include the captions. Need logs.
