Hi!
I recently bought a Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD and set it up properly (afaik) on my server: the OS detects the dongle, loads the firmware, Plex sees it, scans and adds all the channels correctly.
But when I try to watch live TV, I see a dozen pages of Teletext flashing over the video program (see screenshot). How do I get rid of that?

Web version 3.35.2
Ubuntu server 17.10

Aight, almost solved: there is an option in the playback settings, under subtitles. I suppose “off”turns off rhe teletext but unfortunately, I cannot get the damn checkmark to switch to the off position. Any tips?
Ok my bad, in the server settings, under Languages, I had the subtitles options set to “alway on”. Set to manual, the teletext disappears.
Thanks @“Youri Margarine” - I’ve had this problem for months and never figured out why this was happening, and then give up on Plex DVR altogether. Now I can finally use the DVR again
