All of my recordings recently seem to have been partial recordings of between 1 and 50 seconds. Looking at the logs (see attached) it mentions network failure although I wasn’t sure if this was for the Plex server or the HDHomeRun. Also, they are both on wired connections (with HDHomeRun connected to a Powerline adaptor) so I’m not sure why it seems to be so frequent.
Does anyone have more details on the possible cause?
I know some of our employees had similar issues when using powerline, but were resolved when they moved to a standard ethernet connection. Perhaps that’s something you could try?
My solution was to just install the Plex server on a Windows 10 laptop instead (with the exact same set up of a HDHomeRun connected to a Powerline adaptor) and I haven’t had any problems since.
