I am noticing a lot of partial recordings or no recordings at all on my plex media server. I am running it from my Mac Mini but when I go into a recording it is sometimes only 17 seconds long and other recordings it does the full episode. Any suggestions with this do you think it is the Transcoder or internet dropping out? I also don’t have partial recordings on. What settings have worked for you guys?

I’d start by checking your logs. The internet dropping out won’t affect recordings. Your local network being flaky will however. The logs should give you some indication of where to start.
I also have this issue…had three failures in the span of an hour with three attempts to restart the recording for the same show. My post with logs attached (if any developer is viewing this…) is here, and it includes the 3 logs after each immediate failure. I’m hoping three quick fails in a row for the same program might give a developer some inkling as to what causes DVR instability.
I want to switch from SageTV for recording. I’m using the PMS Docker with on my unRAID server and have been testing but have been getting a lot of partial recordings. Sometimes as short as 5 minutes. I’ve looked at my logs and don’t see anything obvious causing my issues. How can I figure out what’s going on. I’m using an older beige HDHomeRun with the latest firmware.
